1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and GoKelisi Communications (“GoKelisi,” “we,” “us” or “our”). They apply when you visit gokelisi.com, create an account, buy or use a digital product, participate in AI speaking practice, book coaching or use another GoKelisi service.

By using a service or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use or purchase the service.

2. Services and eligibility

GoKelisi provides English-learning resources and services, including free lessons, the Grammar Library, GoKelisi Unlocked, private coaching and related support. Product descriptions, included features, access periods and prices shown at the time of purchase form part of your agreement with us.

Paid programs, accounts and coaching are intended for adults aged 18 or older. By purchasing or creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. Accounts and account security

• Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• Use a strong, unique password and keep your login credentials confidential.
• One purchase and account are for one learner unless a written team, school or organizational licence says otherwise.
• Do not share, sell, transfer or permit another person to use your paid access.
• Tell us promptly at learn@gokelisi.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law. We may ask you to verify account ownership before making security or access changes.

4. AI-assisted speaking practice

GoKelisi Unlocked uses artificial intelligence to hold practice conversations, create transcripts and generate feedback, scores or observations. The feature is a learning aid, not a human teacher or professional adviser.

• AI output may be wrong. Responses, corrections, scores and suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent or inappropriate. Use your own judgment.
• No guaranteed result. Practice and feedback do not guarantee fluency, confidence, test scores, employment, admission, immigration results or any other outcome.
• Use appropriate content. Do not share passwords, payment data, government identifiers, medical details, another person’s confidential information or other sensitive content during a conversation.
• Voice and transcript processing. Using the feature requires microphone audio and conversation content to be processed as explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

GoKelisi Unlocked, the Grammar Library and private coaching are sold as one-time purchases unless the checkout page expressly describes a different arrangement. There is no recurring subscription charge for a product presented as a one-time purchase.

You authorize the payment method you provide to be charged for the displayed total. If a payment is reversed, disputed or not completed, we may pause access while the issue is resolved. Please contact us first if you believe a charge is incorrect.

6. Digital-product refunds

Access is considered granted when GoKelisi activates your account, opens the purchased material to you, or provides the access link, download or other means of using the product. Choosing not to use a product, not completing a program or being dissatisfied with progress does not create a refund right.

If you paid but did not receive access, contact learn@gokelisi.com so we can investigate and restore access or provide the remedy required in the circumstances.

This policy does not limit statutory rights. Ontario consumers may have cancellation or refund rights for certain internet agreements, including where required information or a copy of the agreement was not provided as required by law.

Ontario publishes information about consumer rights for online shopping and returns, exchanges and warranties.

7. Private coaching appointments

Please cancel or request a reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, may be charged in full.

Arriving late does not extend the scheduled end time. If GoKelisi must cancel an appointment, we will offer a rescheduled appointment or a credit or refund for the affected session. We may make reasonable exceptions for emergencies or circumstances required by law.

8. Meaning of “lifetime access”

When the Grammar Library or another product is described as including “lifetime access,” this means access for the operational lifetime of that product while GoKelisi continues to offer and support it. It does not mean the purchaser’s lifetime or guarantee that a website, technology or product will exist forever.

We may update, reorganize, replace or remove individual materials as the library develops. If the product is discontinued, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice and, where practicable and permitted, a way to retain or download then-current materials. Any mandatory legal remedies remain unaffected.

9. Ownership and your licence

GoKelisi and its licensors own the website, lessons, guides, prompts, exercises, program structure, branding, graphics, software and other service content, including all related intellectual-property rights.

After valid purchase, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the purchased content for your own non-commercial English learning, subject to these terms. No ownership rights are transferred.

You retain rights in original content you submit. You give GoKelisi and its service providers permission to host, process, reproduce and use that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure and improve the services in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable use

You may not:

• copy, publish, distribute, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit paid materials;
• share account access or remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices;
• scrape, bulk-download, automate access to or systematically extract service content;
• reverse engineer, bypass access controls, probe security or interfere with service operation;
• upload malicious code or use the service to harass, threaten, defraud or violate another person’s rights;
• use GoKelisi content or outputs to train, evaluate or develop a competing product or machine-learning system without written permission; or
• use the services for an unlawful purpose.

11. Availability, maintenance and changes

We work to keep services available, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, internet failures, third-party outages or technical changes may interrupt access.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features and update learning content. We will not materially reduce a paid service without reasonable notice or an appropriate remedy where required by law. Third-party services, including Stripe and OpenAI, are governed by their own terms and may change independently.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time. Stopping use does not by itself create a refund right.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have materially breached these terms, shared or resold access, created a security risk, acted unlawfully or failed to pay. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue. We may act immediately where needed to protect users, the service or third parties.

Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits and general legal terms—survive termination.

13. Educational-service disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. GoKelisi does not promise that every lesson, AI response or service feature will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular personal, academic or professional goal.

English learning depends on many factors, including starting level, practice, participation and individual circumstances. Testimonials or examples describe individual experiences and are not promises of typical or guaranteed results.

Nothing in this section excludes a warranty, condition or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoKelisi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, opportunities, data or goodwill, arising from the services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoKelisi’s total aggregate liability arising from an affected paid service will not exceed the amount you paid GoKelisi for that service. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

15. General legal terms

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms to reflect changes to services, providers or law. The current version will be posted with a revised date. If a material change affects an existing paid service, we will provide reasonable notice and obtain consent where required.

Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue.

No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, the product description at purchase and any additional written terms presented for a specific service form the agreement between you and GoKelisi for that service.
